CPR for Infants
If you are experiencing a life threatening emergency please contact Triple Zero (000) immediately

Introduction
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for infants is a lifesaving skill used when a baby’s heart or breathing has stopped. The technique is adapted to suit the smaller size and fragility of infants compared to older children and adults. It is considered one of the most important first aid responses for parents, carers, and early childhood professionals to understand. Knowing what CPR for infants involves provides confidence in responding to rare but critical emergencies.
