If you are experiencing a life threatening emergency please contact Triple Zero (000) immediately

Introduction
Vertigo refers to a sensation of spinning or imbalance, which can be unsettling and disruptive to daily activities. It is not a condition itself but rather a symptom of issues affecting the inner ear or balance system. Episodes can vary in intensity and duration, sometimes making ordinary movement difficult. Understanding vertigo helps highlight why it can be a concern for those who experience it.
