Background
Emergencies in aquatic environments demand quick, coordinated responses. For more than a century, Royal Life Saving has been at the forefront of preparing organisations for emergencies through research, guideline development, and training frameworks.
Our involvement in national and international standards ensures that every Emergency Action Plan we develop is informed by proven practices and aligned with contemporary safety expectations. This gives facilities confidence in their preparedness.

Service Overview
We work with facilities to design Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) that reflect their unique risks and operational environments. Plans address a wide range of scenarios, from medical incidents and rescues to evacuations and extreme weather events.
Each EAP is developed in line with the GSPO and WHS legislation, and includes guidance on drills, staff training, and review processes. The outcome is a practical, living document that enhances readiness and builds staff confidence.

Benefits of the Service
Emergency Action Plans ensure that facilities are prepared to respond quickly and effectively when critical incidents occur. Staff gain confidence knowing their actions are guided by procedures that are practical, tested, and aligned with industry standards.
Procedures tailored to aquatic-specific emergencies.
