PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Description

The Waddles Preschool Water Safety Program is a fun and interactive program designed to teach children aged 3–5 essential, age-appropriate water safety knowledge and skills. 


Delivered at your centre by a Royal Life Saving Community Educator, each session uses our engaging Waddles water safety stories and interactive activities to help children recognise potential dangers, understand safe behaviours around water and learn the importance of always staying with an adult. The program uses storytelling and age-appropriate activities to make important water safety messages easy for young children to understand and remember. 


Centres can choose from four Waddles water safety themes: 

  • Pools 

  • Rivers & Creeks 

  • Lakes & Dams 

  • Beaches 


Each theme takes children on a different Waddles adventure, exploring the potential hazards they may encounter in and around these environments and the simple actions they can take to help stay safe.

Prices vary depending on group size and requirements, with sessions starting from:

Up to 20 children – $390

Up to 25 children – $425

Up to 30 children – $450

INCLUSIONS

Each session includes:

  • A 30-minute interactive water safety presentation delivered by a Royal Life Saving Community Educator 

  • Engaging learning using a Waddles water safety story and supporting activities 

  • Take-home water safety resources for children to share with their parents, carers and families 

  • A Waddles storybook for the participating centre 

  • Access to our online partner portal with supporting resources to help educators continue water safety learning beyond the session
